While it’s exciting to find niches in which you know there is a hot market and a demand for products. To truly dominate niches and to brand yourself (or your alias) in that niche as an authority to be respected and paid attention to, the most effective way to do this is to have your own product.

While it is possible to profit from affiliate products in that niche, generally, you stand to earn the highest profits by having your own product, or line of products. Also, a smart route to go is to get people into your marketing funnel through your own product, and then over time market related affiliate products to them later on as for additional income. Using this method, you are gaining the authority you are looking for by owning and having your own products, building your brand, then profiting from repeat sales. It’s a proven method for dominating niches you have uncovered.

How Do I Create My Own Product?

When it comes to creating your own product we have several methods in which we can go about it. The first method is to create your own.

Creating your very own exclusive product is always a good idea, but, it does come with a lot of work, especially if you are doing it by yourself. If we are creating an ebook for instance, this can easily be done by using Open Office. This is the method I generally use for creating my own ebooks and reports, although there are a few different products out there that might help you out as well. The great thing about Open Office, is that it is completely Free. It also comes with a whole suite of applications much like Microsoft Office.

Outsourcing Your Product For Dominating Niches

The next method is that you can outsource your project for creation. This is an especially popular method for getting products created, and generally very inexpensive. You can place your project, such as your ebook, up for bid on sites like Elance.com, or Scriptlance.com.

Different writers will bid on your project, many of which are very good professional writers. Once you have chosen a writer, they will do the research for you, all of the writing, and then return your project back to you. You will notice when you post projects up for bids on these sites that you will most likely get a lot of bids. Also, you will generally get a wide range of bid prices. Often times, people will be offering very low bids. But, it’s always wise to check out some of their previous work, before you go ahead and make a decision on any writer. Writers will generally supply this upon request.

Be sure, that if your product is in English, that you hire a writer that is very proficient in the English language. On bidding sites such as these, often times, you will find bidders where English is not their native language, and it’s easy to tell in their writing. Just be sure you are happy with the ebook and product they have created for you before you pay them. Research is key here, and it’s the reason to always ask for samples of previous work.

Video And Audio Products For Dominating Niches

Creating video or audio products isn’t as difficult as some people think. If you were creating a very costly type of video production perhaps. But, generally you don’t have to go to this type of extreme measure to end up with a very good product.

There are a few free methods, and others that require a fair investment. But, if you consider the fact that an investment in a very good software will yeild many products in the future it’s obviously pays for itself in a very short time span.

The great thing about video and audio products is that they can be used as front end products, or back end products for your initial product. Your front end product can be your ebook that you will be dominating niches with, and your upsell can be videos or audios on your back end.

Your video products could be screen capture training videos, or you can could even record products with your webcam. You can use your imagination here on the type of product you want to create.

For screen capture videos I own Camtasia. It’s a fair investment, but, a very good software. You can also get a free screen capture software which is open source called CamStudio. For those on a budget, this software will serve your needs just fine.

For audio types of products you can get a no cost software called Audacity. Audacity is great for recording interviews, training audios etc.

Private Label Rights can offer you a very great way of developing ebook products for dominating niches. The problem with most people who use PLR’s is that they don’t use them properly. Often times, they simply slap their names on them, and don’t do any re-writing of the products at all.

We’ve all seen these huge PLR’s sales. People buy them, then two weeks later you see a ton of marketers selling these products for peanuts, trying to undercut eachother in price, in the hopes of selling them. This is a huge mistake!
